Must have experience in field instruments including flow, level, pressure, temperature, analyzer specifications, datasheets, and calculations, as well as systems controls including DCS, PLC, SIS, Fire Gas. Experience must include 5 years of complex instrumentation design, specifically preparing instrumentation specifications and Instrument Indexes, oversightassistance in preparing Instrument Location Plans, Fire and Gas FG location plans, Instrument Installation details, Instrument Wiring and Loop Drawings. Must have experience with coordinating instrument procurement, including preparation of specifications and datasheets, technical evaluation of bids, communicating with instrument suppliers. Must have experience with preparing, coordinating and managing field installation bids construction scope of work and design deliverables for instrumentation. Must have experience preparing design deliverables for complex instrumentation equipment and systems, including Distributed Control System DCS and Safety Instrumented System SIS. Must have experience witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests FAT for applicable equipment. Must have experience participating in Hazard and Operability Study HAZOP and Layer of Protection Analysis LOPA as well as resolving action items from such reviews. Must have experience with direct relationships with vendors, clients, and construction teams and resolving technical problems with them. Must have experience using Smart Plant Instrumentation SPI, design tools such as AutoCAD or comparable tool, and using 3D model viewing tools including Navisworks or comparable tools. Must have experience interfacing with and leading engineering and design professionals in offices both in the U.S. and outside of the US OUS to develop instrumentation design and engineering deliverables. Domestic and international travel will be required up to 10 of the time for witness of Factory Acceptance Tests FAT for Integrated Control and Safety System ICSS, Programmable Logic Controllers PLC Panels, and Process Analyzers. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
