Experience must include Working in thermal engineering position in the automotive sector; developing HVAC system and sub systems requirements based on customer experience requirements and benchmarked specifications; optimizing vehicle HVAC systems for thermal performance, efficiency, cost, weight, manufacturability, and serviceability; providing HVAC components selection, pressure drop studies, mechanical design, packaging, and vehicle integration checks; creating and releasing component specifications, drawings, DFMEA, and other technical design documents; providing HVAC system design validation and participating in vehicle thermal performance trails and thermal buck testing for system calibration; managing vehicle suppliers to maintain components, meet program milestones, and ensure material availability within budget for all preproduction and production builds; and utilizing CATIA 3D, Enovia, Jira and Confluence.
