Must have 3 years of experience with the following Using various tooling design process including casting, injection, molding, 3D modeling, and sheet metal tooling; Designing componentpart to be manufactured via die casting, injection molding, spinning, hydroforming, stamping, progressive die, progressive tooling, assembly tooling die fabrication, and welding; Designing for finishing processes such as powder coating, anodization, wet paint, vacuum metallization, and electroplating, as well as finishing on boards such as flood, selective coating, and masking materials; Experience with design for manufacturing including the assembly process, GDNT, and First Article Inspection; 3D CAD, ProE, Solidworks, Inventor, Altium, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Keyshot; Prototyping methods such as SMT, 3D printing, machining, breadboarding, brake press, water jet, laser cutting, and welding; Using formal processes and planning tools to drive projects; Experience with all stage gates of the formal product development process, including Conceptual Design Event, Detail Design Event, DevelopmentTooling, Design for Manufacturing, and Failure Mode Effect Analysis; Experience with required tests to design a product, interpreting and recommending testing procedures, and knowledge of the basic principles of testing requirements and standards and system level operation; and Experience with applicable codes to area of expertise, including UL, NOM, CE, DLC, IES, EnergyStar, Title 20, Title 24, NFPA, and NEC.br br Remote work permitted within the U.S.
