Specific Skills:Position requires a Masters degree in Architecture or foreign equivalent plus three years of professional work experience as an Architectural Designer Project Leader devising and executing studies to address design preconceptions and advance architectural typologies; coordinating and assuming responsibility for all phases of the project Conceptualization, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Bidding and Negotiation, and Construction Administration; coordinating and executing the Design Development phase, including comprehensive drawings sets and details; coordinating and executing the Construction Documentation phase of both institutional and highend singlefamily residential projects, including comprehensive drawing sets and construction details; coordinating and executing the Construction Administration phase, including; conducting construction site visits, producing project reports, overseeing schedule, and overseeing billing status of both institutional and highend singlefamily residential buildings; reviewing project cost estimates and construction budgets, detecting inaccuracies, omissions, duplications, and errors; coordinating and preparing Value Engineering documentation with cost estimators, engineers, contractors, and consultants; designing in compliance with International Building Codes, standards, and requirements for people with disabilities; working on projects designed under the International System of units; leading a team of 5 architectural designers; coordinating external specialists, engineers, and consultants.; interacting with clients directly clientfacing; leading communication with official authorities; organizing and managing building permit documentation; reviewing and revising contract documentation, project scheduling and staffing, and profitability; and proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Rhinoceros, Microsoft Office, and FTP sites.br br Position requires domestic and international travel, as needed approximately, 510 times per year, for client meetings, supervision of manufacturer mockups, and attendance at presentations to official authorities.
