Specific Skills:Masters degree in an ABET accredited electrical engineering program with focus in power systems and 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer which must include the following Power systems stability and fault analysis in lieu of experience, graduate coursework is acceptable; Analyzing substation configurations, schemes, and layouts; Installation and commissioning of Motor Control Centers MCCs,auxiliary service batteries and UPS systems, LV panel boards, switchboards and the associated schematic diagrams and wiring practices; Interfacing with vendors to interoperate and certify acceptance of factory test results and certify commissioning reports; Power flow modeling and analysis, including power system vector analysis and power factor correction techniques in lieu of experience, graduate coursework is acceptable; Progress reporting as it relates to overall project schedule, monitoring project for adherence to defined scope, and procurement of material within defined budget requirements; and Delivering technical content to audiences with a diverse or nonexistent technical background. Alternatively, employer will accept a bachelor degree in an ABET accredited electrical engineering program focused in power systems and 5 year of progressive experience as specified above, including 2 years of working independently under limited direction and supervision.
