Specific Skills:Must have any experience with or knowledge of i theoretical and applied statistics, e.g., design of experiments, generalized linear models, categorical data analysis, power analysis, statistical inference, regression analysis, survival analysis, and statistical simulation techniques; ii how to work with statistical topics in clinical trials, e.g., outcome analyses, subgroup analysis, time to event analysis, simulation techniques, machine learning algorithms, missing data imputation methods, and Bayesian approaches; iii statistical programming softwarelanguages including SAS, R, and Excel, SAS Base and SAS Stat as well as data step skills; iv clinical study processes including but not limited to sample size calculation, protocol concept development, protocol development, SAP development; v working with industry data standards e.g. CDISC; vi how to explain complex statistics in the context of experimental objectives to those with little or no background in paper or presentations; vii prioritizing and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously; viii how to function independently and collaboratively on interdisciplinary project teams; and ix how to perform literature reviews to identify and understand relevant scientific literature and apply knowledge gained from these sources.br br Experience can be concurrent.
