Specific Skills:Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Microelectronic Engineering or related field and 1 year experience in the following Supporting application of Hall Effect Magnetic Sensors 3D Position Sensors, Linear Hall Sensors, Speed Sensors, Switches and Latches Sensors and Current Sensors and understanding of the IC electronic blocks Magnetic and Electrical Signal Amplifiers, ADC, DAC, Filters, and Output Drivers to build the bridge between the application and IC functionalities; Conducting circuit design and analysis selection of passive components for Automotive Electromagnetic Compatibility EMC robustness and understanding of the influence of Electrostatic Discharge ESD on semiconductors and sensor output protocols Analog, PWM, SENT, PSI5, I2C, and SPI; Magnetic Circuit Design simulating complex magnetic systems using the physics and magnetic 3D modelling simulation tool COMSOL Multiphysics to assist the customer with the magnet and sensor selection and recommend changes to the mechanical design to ensure optimal sensor performance, performing statistical system error budget analysis based on simulation output; Application testing and calibration utilizing advanced lab equipment such as a Helmholtz coil, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, multimeters, soldering iron, reflow oven, 3D printer, or drilling machine; Supporting Proof of Concept demos ability to design, develop and build specialized hardware demos using magnetic sensors for tradeshows and customer promotions and creating working prototypes of specific customer applications using magnetic sensors and integrating other sensing technologies; PCB design using PCB layout tools such as Altium, PCB assembly and debugging and 3D mechanical modeling tools such as SolidWorks; Proficiency in .Net including C# and VB, C, LabVIEW, Python or MATLAB and working with embedded software development for ARM and ATMEL microcontrollers; and Experience and familiarity with automotive development stages, manufacturing processes and practices and automotive functional safety ISO 26262.br br Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
