Specific Skills:Position requires a Masters degree in Financial Engineering, or a related applied mathematical field or foreign equivalent degree, and a Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or foreign equivalent degree plus 3 years of experience programming in scripting language including building custom code to prototype quantitative solutions to improve the teams efficiency and debugging existing code; with advanced Excel including spreadsheet debugging, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, MATCH, OFFSET, Pivot tables, array formulas, sorting, filtering, minimization through Solver, linear regression and historgrams; 2 year of experience must include quantitative role for a broker dealer performing independent documentation of findings and writing model documentationtechnical reports for regulators andor internal stakeholders; testing of strategic solutions and assessing if it meets the requirements; independently investigating issues and proposing solutions to address them; performing quantitative analysis of financial models including parameter calibration, time series analysis, linear regression and statistical hypothesis testing; and knowledge through masters level coursework of options pricing including deriving option pricing formula and no arbitrage pricing.br br Background checks and fingerprinting may apply.
