Alternatively, Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Computer Aided Manufacturing, or related field 5 years of experience in quality engineering also accepted. Prior experience must also include 2 years of experience in the following translating engineering drawings and specifications into quality planning; working with geometric dimensioning tolerancing; working with machining, fabrication, electronics, casting and foundry manufacturing processes; working with engines and engine related components; PPAP, APQP and statistical process control methods; 8D and A3 structured problem solving methods; implementing supplier development initiatives and actions; process improvements utilizing Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping lean methodologies; ISO 9000 or 9001 auditing; and building supplier relationships.
