Specific Skills:Must have Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Statistics or a related field.Graduate coursework must include Cleaning, transforming data and conducting exploratory analysis in R using programming packages including baser, ggplot2, and dplyr; Developing, testing and evaluating complex predictive statistical models in R using generalized linear models, shrinkage and selection methods, and diagnostics for multivariate egressions; Performing multivariate statistical inference in R, including confidence intervals and hypothesis testing; Building, optimizing and interpreting results from machine learning algorithms in R, such as clustering and classification algorithms, resampling and crossvalidation techniques; Obtaining, cleaning and maintaining large Excel datasets with complex logic structure, and conducting exploratory data analysis in Excel using tools such as charting, filtering, referencing, data conversion, data validation and conditional formatting; Using advanced Excel functions including INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, INDIRECT, and advanced tools such as pivot tables, arrays and VBA programming to perform data transformations on large datasets; Managing data analytics projects in a team environment, adhering to strict project deadlines and evolving priorities, delivering project results and answering technical questions in front of a large, technical audience; Drafting technical reports that outline a statistical methodology and clearly articulate datadriven findings; and Presenting datadriven findings using data visualization tools such as PowerPoint and RShiny dashboards to technical audience.
