Specific Skills:The position requires Bachelors Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, or a related field plus five 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related field. Position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following Software engineering languages and tools, including SQL and Python; Developing on multiple platforms, including Oracle and Amazon AWS; IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies; Layered systems architectures solutions and designs; Shared software concepts; Consulting, including applying customer requirements, drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design; Defining design reasoning, and understanding potential impacts of design requirements; Backlog tracking, burndown metrics, and incremental delivery; Public cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, or S3 Data Lake; Business intelligence, analytics, and reporting tools; Experience with building and supporting ETL Data Pipelines; Experience with Git; Understanding of DevOps and CICD pipeline principles; and Familiarity with Agile development concepts TestDriven Design, MVP, iterative and incremental design and delivery.
