Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Masters degree and one year of experience. One year of experience in the job offered or related occupation must involve 1. writing test methods that verify requirements of electromechanical control systems and components; 2. experience in multiple electromechanical control test methods, including Taguchi methods; 3. evaluating Geometrics Dimensioning and Tolerancing; 4. reading and understanding the function of electrical schematics; 5. performing reliability analysis and measurement of mechanical and electrical electromechanical control components and systems; 6. using a programming language or scripting, including LabVIEW, C, C#, Java, or Python for commanding electromechanical control equipment and for testing fixtures for the purpose of automatic testing; and 7. performing new electromechanical control product introduction and integration into test systems, development of verification test methods, and documentation of test results.
