Specific Skills:All of the following prior to the effective date of appointment two years of professional experience in communication design or a related field, that is, work in industry design studios, branding or architecture studios, corporate or other inhouse teams or independent practice sole proprietorship, principalpartner designer, or freelance, such professional experience must have included research, iterative design, production, and implementation of visual communications in design systems brand identities, institutional or corporate communications systems, logos and identity systems, or printedpublished applications books, posters, publications, packaging, or physicalenvironmental applications environmental graphic design architecture, or digital web, apps, experiential forms; one output of academic research peerreviewed academic publication or conference presentation, fellowship or visiting scholar appointment, grantfunded research project or one documented example of professional design research design research methods applied to a clientbased design project; as well as, one sample of research output, professional project, creative project, or student project demonstrating a foundation in the fundamentals of communication design including typography, photography, visual aesthetics, communication, innovative approaches to professional, creative or research outcomes; and a minimum of one design award or one exhibition of creative work or one publication of creative work.br br PLEASE NOTE Response to Question H.6. as to experience in the job offered is quot;Noquot; because experience at the Assistant Professor level and in all duties stated in H.11. is NOT required. Our interpretation as to Questions H.10., H.10A., and H.10B. regarding acceptable experience in an alternate occupation is that a negative response to Question H.6. precludes all affirmative response to those questions.
