Specific Skills:Must have experience with designing, building and monitoring costoptimized large scale distributed containerized and noncontainerized storage systems using Ceph and Docker; automating life cycle management of Ceph clusters using Ansible and Python; integrating cloud storage clusters to OpenStack services including Cinder, Swift, Glance, and Keystone; automating deployment, conducting configuration management and patching of Ceph software using Ansible; designing software defined networks and loading balancing for large scale traffic patterns using Haproxy, DNS, Python, Networking IP Tools and Shell Scripting; developing data placement algorithms in storage clusters; cloud orchestration tools like Terraform and Heat for application deployments; infrastructure configuration and management using Chef and Canonical offerings; nextgeneration hardware evaluation, datacenter optimization and automated firmware management on production environments; adhering to Infosec compliance, running audits and implementing cloud security policies to operate in PCI and PII environments; designing, integrating and monitoring Azure Cloud IaaS offerings for storage blobs, file shares, tables, and queues using Azure PowerShell and ARM; designing, integrating and monitoring of Google Cloud Storage IaaS offerings in GCS, Cloud Volume Service and Filestores; and participating in cloud storage architectural designs, consulting for applications being deployed with hybrid cloud models and onpremise and public cloud solutions.
