Specific Skills:In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is two 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, mechanical design, project management in relation to rotor and stator manufacturing, or combination thereof.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and two 2 years of experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Academic background, internship or work experience to include Process characterization and validation using statistical tools; Data driven methodology to solve complex problems; Creating computercontrolled motion systems of 1 axis or more; Creating process documentation; Transitioning a design component from design conception to realworld hardware or device; 2D and 3D CAD to generate layout, assembly models and detailed part drawings for fabrication; Hardware or component design, including detailing part prints in GDT; and High volume production methods. Approx. 10 domestic and 25 international travel required to Asia and Europe to supplier sites and current and future Tesla factories to review equipment design details with suppliers, perform equipment checks at suppliers, and start up production of new equipment in foreign factories. Travel expenses to be paid by employer. Successful completion of reference and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A.
