Must also possess 2 years of experience i at the Senior Accountant level using GAAP Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for a transnational corporation; and ii managing the Maquiladora IMMEX program for a transnational corporation. Must also possess experience with Mexico VAT tax filling and refunds with SAT and speak and converse fluently in both Spanish and English. 20 international travel requiredbr br br Need for Foreign Lang Fluency in both English and Spanish is required as the job duties include communication between the Senior Accountant and Transpaks offices and manufacturing plants in Mexico where the employees speak Spanish. The Senior Accountant would not be able to obtain the information needed to perform the necessary budget analysis and investigations without Spanish fluency. Additionally the Senior Accountant job duties include regular correspondence with the Secrataria de Administracion Tributaria SAT, a Mexican government agency which requires all correspondence be in fluent Spanish as mere Spanish proficiency would not provide the necessary level of professionalism for correspondence with a federal government agency.
