This position requires experience in the following Progress OpenEdge Database Administration; architecting, supporting, and implementing strategic database management systems; implementing automated processes to improve database system reliability; development in a dynamic programming language, such as Progress OpenEdge, Python, JavaScript, .NET, Perl, SQL, or TSQL; database backup and recovery and replication; Progress Application Server and Classic App Server maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting; Progress Open Edge Database creation, configuration and management; Order Entry activities, including Auditing, Replication, AfterImaging AI Management, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Transparent Data Encryption; database monitoring, error handling, troubleshooting, and end user support; Database Performance Tuning; schema releases; Extent maintenance; SQL fixes; Database dump and load; databaserelated troubleshooting; Shell and batch scripting for automation of regular Database Administration tasks; Progress 4GL queries, preparing the reports as per users requests and providing data; Progress 10.2x and OpenEdge 11.6 to 12.2 CHUI on Linux and Unix Operating systems; Protop; Promon; Pro2; Linux; AIX; and Perl Scripting.
