Specific Skills:Must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Insurance or a related field and 5 years of experience in financial lines and claims handling in the insurance industry in Latin America. Must have at least 5 years of experience with managing and overseeing broking activities for all financial lines reinsurance clients within the Central America and Caribbean region; managing the development and implementation of critical reinsurance activities for major insurance companys clientele throughout Latin America and the Caribbean regions; generating new business including retainingfurther developing assigned book of business; directing analysis, review, adjustment and settlement of all financial lines reinsurance business claims for Latin Americabased clients in at least three 3 of the following sectors direct officer liability, employment practices liability, mergers acquisitions, professional indemnity, cyber risk, bankers blanket bond, commercial crime andor security insurance sectors; advising high level clients on reinsurance purchasing strategies; coordinating brokering activities; proposing innovative programs to meet the client companys business needs; speaking as an expert and taking into account local regulation at incountry large setting public speaking engagements in Latin America. 1520 international travel required.
