The companys Latin America LATAM affiliate structure and oil operations are managed and supported by the employer through its New York, NY office. The position duties require extensive knowledge of, and experience with, the LATAM energy market and the companys regional supply and logistics networks for crude and refined products.br Spanish is the official language of the LATAM countries in which we do business and is exclusively used in government documentation such as laws, regulations, decrees and rulings and communications, and in commercial dealings and internal administration. In order to coordinate direct the financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting for subsidiary entities in LATAM countries, the incumbent must continuously communicate with employees, vendors and government agencies by email, telephone video conferencing meetings in Spanish. With the exception of senior management, the vast majority of our local employees can only communicate in Spanish. The incumbent must also read, write and speak Spanish fluently in order to coordinate and monitor compliance with, and new developments in, the laws, regulations and other requirements of local jurisdictions governing tax, health safety, environmental, antibribery anticorruption, etc. affecting our LATAM operations.
