Specific Skills:This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus three years of related experience with the electrical components of construction projects. Alternatively, this position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus five years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience with the electrical components of construction projects. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 reviewing and interpreting engineering design documents; 2 ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code NEC and the National Electrical Safety Code NESC in construction projects; 3 working with electrical control, substations, and transmission lines in construction projects; 4 coordinating with all local and state authorities to ensure compliance with the electrical requirements of each jurisdiction; and 5 implementing all electrical design elements, including responsibilities related to the procurement of equipment and materials to complete the build of the project. Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Masters program. All experience may have been gained concurrently.
