Specific Skills:Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field followed by 10 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or 10 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 1 Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and 70E, IEEE, NEMA, and NETA codes and standards; 2 Arc flash studies, short circuit analyses, load flow studies, protective coordination studies, and power quality analysis such as power factor, and harmonic studies 3 Design of electrical distribution systems, low voltage and medium voltage up to 138 kV 4 Electrical equipment selection and specification, including motors, motor control centers, switchgear, switchboards, programmable drives, protective relays, emergency and uninterruptible power supplies, transformers, transfer switches and generators 5 AutoCAD or Inventor drawing software, 6 Project management including budgets, schedules and scope control and reporting, 7 Development and understanding of electrical drawings and motor control schematics, and protection schematics 8 Programming protective relays, variable frequency drives, soft starts, and automatic transfer switches and 9 Problem solving and troubleshooting equipment issues in a complex manufacturing environment utilizing systematic problem solving approaches working across multiple disciplines, 10 Equipment commissioning including development of test plans and reports to ensure proper operation of critical plant equipment. Must be available to work at various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
