Specific Skills:Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related specialty field with 5 years of related experience. Prior experience with the following multimodular applications and multilevel systems using COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS, and VSAM technologies; Prior experience to include TSOISPF, SDSF, CA File Manager, and core utilities; building and maintaining real time CICS applications for both individual transactional processing and pseudoconversational applications; and developing within the multiregion CICS Plex environment. Prior experience also to include Web Sphere MQ applications for real time messaging; identify and avoid processing bottlenecks and minimize latencies for high volume applications; and SPUFI, QMF, Platinum or equivalent database querying and optimization tools. Prior experience with optimization VSAMbased applications, understanding difference access methods i.e. RLS for KSDS files; and CA INTERTEST, Debugger, AbendAid, or another equivalent standard COBOL debuggers.
