FROM H 10B and H 14 One 1 year as an Assistant Engineer performing the following job duties Acting as liaison with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, other job staff and owners representatives in resolving issues related to plans and specifications. Having general knowledge of all general contract and subcontract documents, as well as the job estimate. Overseeing and making decisions related to contract drawings and subcontract information. Ensuring that all drawings and specifications properly relate to the estimate. Managing the project budget. Managing submittals and shop drawings. Assessing conformance to contract specifications. Resolving any conflicts in interpretation. Negotiating change orders. Managing information on changes in the work; preparing an independent analysis, as required; obtaining and checking estimates for the changes from subcontractor; obtaining approval of the architect and owner; and resolving any conflicts. Overseeing the closeout process. Preparing final records such as RFIs, closeout records, warranties, asbuilts, operation and maintenance manuals, attic stock, and spare parts, and evaluating information to insure compliance with contract documents.br Supervising Engineering Assistants, Plan Clerks and Interns, including providing input on performance appraisals. Preparing scope of work documents for trades. Developing reports such as General Conditions Items, labor, safety, change order logs and quality control. Scheduling and managing subcontractor trade coordination meetings, preconstruction meetings and submittal review meetings. One 1 year as a Field Engineer performing the following job duties Performing line and grade work for building layout and control as required. Assisting in the implementation of the site safety program as required and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations. Assisting in the maintenance of contract documents and electronic webbased documents for field operations. Assisting in the preparation of Daily Construction Reports DCRs. Reviewing all work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within accepted tolerances. Reviewing contract drawings, specifications and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation. Assisting in the preparation of project asbuilts.br Performing other duties as may be assigned. Employer will accept foreign equivalent to a US Bachelors degree with education evaluation. Beneficiary earned the equivalent of a US Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineeringbr on 04052013 from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology in India by education evaluation prepared by American Evaluation and Translation Service dated 03042016. Employer acknowledges and accepts this equivalency and confirms Beneficiary meets its education requirement. Beneficiary also has a US Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering received on 08012015 from The University of Kansas.
