Specific Skills:This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field plus three 3 years of related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years related progressive, postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 developing data pipelines and debugging information in case of failures; 2 migrating existing HIVE jobs as spark applications on Hadoop environment; 3 processing large amounts of data, in various formats including Parquet, ORC and processing data in batch mode, and streaming mode; 4 writing Oozie coordinators and workflow functions to automatically trigger events; and 5 utilizing the following tools and technologies HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie, Kafka, Avro, Parquet, ORC, Qubole Data Services, Spark Core, Data Frames, Spark SQL, RDD, Spark Structured Streaming, Agile Scrum, Waterfall, WaterfallScrum, Java, Scala, SQL, Shell Script, Informatica, IDQ, Teradata, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, HP Quality Center, JIRA, and HP ALM. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to Minneapolisarea Target office, as directed.
