Specific Skills:At least a bachelors degree in aeronautical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related technical field. 12 months of experience in aircraft performance engineering andor other mechanical engineering discipline in the airline industry. Must have an understanding of aircraft weight and balance concepts, basic aerodynamics, flight mechanics and aircraft systems. Must have experience in producing weight and balance engineering documents such as loadsheets, loading instruction reports and AHM 560565. Must have proficiency with Office productivity applications, spreadsheets and database management applications and proficiency with commercial aircraft performance and weight and balance software applications. Must have demonstrated ability of clear technical writing and communication such as publications and conference presentations. Must have familiarity with engineering drawings like layout of passenger accommodations LOPA. Must have received the COVID vaccine by date of hire.
