Specific Skills:Cont. from H.11 setup automated parametric workflows using available and custom developed scripts to connect 3D modeling tools, building environmental analysis tools and evolutionary optimization algorithms to optimize the architectural design and provide quick feedback on the performance; develop visual aid to parametric generative design; provide technical leadership, design production, strategic value and deep tactical expertise in the design technology and digital project delivery enabling the interior teams support and aligning with project and client requirements; conduct BIM project and team management including identifying, resolving and coaching project team members around modelmanagement to optimize performance and userexperience; provide ongoing BIMCAD support and moderate internal BIMCAD discussion forums, prepare and conduct organized inhouse training on best digital practices, standards and software trainings.br br Requires Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Environmental Design or foreign equivalent plus 5 years of experience to include assisting in predesign, programming, and all design phases of small to large scale over 100,000 sq ft global Hospitality and Luxury lifestyle projects, including resorts, boutiques hotels, and restaurants, hotel guestrooms, hotel public spaces, and residences, including new construction, renovation, expansion, and tenant improvement; performing assignments of complex and diverse scope requiring implementing various means of data collection, including site surveys, focus groups, walkthroughs, punchouts or client meetings; Develop, document, and convey design requirements and design solutions, coordinate design through concept to the construction documentation and construction administration phases of interior projects; modifying and creating implementation documents to communicate design intent, applying industry standards, construction techniques and engineering principals, collaborative design computations and procedures as assigned under direction; conducting design development and execution of complex, parametric, generative design, and innovative design solutions; performing BIMCAD modeling using specialized advanced modeling tools including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, Dynamo, and Sketchup; communicating design intent and concepts narratives through 3D models and renderings, building physical models and design prototypes using Laser Cutting, 3D printing, and CNC machining; researching, selecting and maintaining Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment FFE, finishes and Art and Accessories, vendors, product representatives, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives; utilizing knowledge of graphic design systems to develop graphics systems, environmental graphics wayfinding, signage and to incorporate brand standards Adobe Suite; reviewing interior project documentation, specifications, related shop drawings and response to RFIs, submittalscut sheets, samples and mock ups and all other interior design related details of projects from all design phases for consistency with the design intent and owner budgets; working with project team to review work for design integrity, accuracy, clarity and quality; establishing design guidelines and assist in building prototypes for Quality assurance and measure and assure quality control QAQC; coordinating across design practice areas project consultants including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, lighting, code, acoustic, and structural subconsultants, client teamrepresentative, contractors, and with external partners and vendors to meet overall project objectives and to incorporate engineering systems to match architectural design intentions; Cont. in K.
