Additional Recruitment Information:The university began advertising the position on 01/12/2022 in the manner further provided for in this Section I. The University followed its normal search process as provided for in university policy and as supported by the Division of Human Resources. A total of 26 applicants responded to the posting. Eight of the applicants were determined by the Division of Human Resources to not meet the minimum requirements for the position. The search committee additionally determined that 13 of the applicants did not meet the minimum requirements of the position. The search committee interviewed the remaining three applicants. At the conclusion of the search process, the university extended the offer to the selected candidate and determined that no other U.S. worker applicant was able or qualified for the job opportunity, nor could any applicant acquire the skills necessary to perform the duties during a reasonable period of on-the-job training.
