Specific Skills:This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics or a related field and 3 years of Supply Chain experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field and 5 years progressive, postbaccalaureate Supply Chain experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 working with large data sets and code in SQLHQL to create customized reporting; 2 creating unique inventory flow, forecasting, positioning plans for key categories and key events to maximize network utilization and minimize cost; 3 developing and implementing inventory placement and positioning strategies; 4 supporting total direct to Guest network business strategies to maximize speed to Guest while reducing shipping expenses related to long shipping orders; 5 operating in a cross functional environment within supply chain across various teams including Network Planning, SOP, Logistics and Operations; and 6 working with the following technologies Hadoop, IBMDB2, Teradata, SAP, Statistical analysis, Regression and Exponential smoothing, Data mining techniques including Exploratory and Predictive Data Mining, and Causal Data modelling, and financial analysis including NPV, Valuation, Cost of Capital, and DCF modelling. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to a Minneapolisarea Target office, as directed.
