Experience must be postBachelors degree.br br Special Requirements Academic background or work experience to include Battery technology and industry requirements for cyber security protocols, corrosion impacts in humid climates, battery cell dynamics and degradation; Solar and storage systems to evaluate hardware requirements for various applications e.g., microgrids, behind the meter commercial systems or front of the meter utility applications; Applying understanding of regional utility rates and tariffs and to determine impacts to energy project financials; Identifying electrical network modifications to ensure safe operation of the renewable energy system and its compliance with national, area specific utility and AHJs code requirements; Screening and defining behind the meter grid code requirements for smart inverter features including voltVAR, frequencywatt, power factor settings and inadvertent export control of renewable energy systems energy production onto the electrical grid; Applying project specific requirements e.g., power factor and electrical AC losses, overload active or reactive power requirements to system sizing; Python or MATLAB to perform project financial analysis of cost and savings; Energy industry engineering e.g., battery systems, power conversion, grid systems or controls; and Financial models or fiscal analysis for energy systems. Successful completion of reference and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A.
