Specific Skills:Minimum Requirements PhD degree or foreign equivalent in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a directly related field and 3 years of work experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.br In the alternative, the employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a directly related field and 5 years of work experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.br br Experience must includebr br 3 years of experience with each of the followingbr Understanding, practicing, and implementing statistical principles and clinical trial methodology.br Providing technical solutions that are practicable and consistent with objectives to address complex biostatistical problems including evaluating which statistical methods to utilize for data analysis, applying appropriate statistical methods using statistical software, assisting with interpretation of results, and advising how to design clinical trial to answer key research questions.br Working knowledge of medical and biological terminology, clinical trial designs, and competitive landscape in relevant therapeutic areas.br SAS software programming, and SAS or R software procedures for modelling and simulations.br Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines and Commercial needs relating to statistical analysis, study reports, and statistical components of regulatory submissions.
