Specific Skills:Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in Project Management and Deputy PM roles using earned value analysis to monitor and deliver projects; in construction oversight roles for dam safety upgrade works and QAQC landfill synthetic installation; using regulations and standards to conduct technical studies for dam engineering projects, including quantitative risk assessments; planning, implementing and managing geotechnical site investigations and laboratory testing; soil strength and behavior characterization with interpretation of field and lab data to assign strength parameters for embankment and foundation materials; using software including GeoStudio, AutoCAD and gINT; using consolidation mechanics to estimate settlements of embankment and foundations; using various methods to evaluate liquefaction potential and design of mitigation measures for existing dams; and using Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint to develop project deliverables and technical dam engineering documentation.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
