Specific Skills:clinical nephrologist experience following completion of fellowship, in professional practice diagnosing causes and levels of kidney failure, prescribing appropriate treatment, and managing ongoing care. Must have extensive experience in kidney transplantation; acute renal failure, chronic kidney disease; ESRD; hypertension; incenter hemodialysis; home dialysis including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis; CVVHD, CVVHDF; plasmapheresis and leukapheresis. Must be board certified Nephrologist, satisfy UNOS requirements to be designated Primary Kidney Transplant Physician. Requires travel to locations within commuting distance when on call, to cover rounds, or as needed for vacation and holiday coverage.
