Specific Skills:Must have Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related field, plus five 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, Plant Engineer, Equipment Manager, or related position. Must have five 5 years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following Technical capability, equipment and component knowledge, and practical experience with PLC Controls; Vacuum Technology; and Pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical power transmission; Writing, reviewing and understanding of the functional elements of preventive predictive maintenance programs; Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and equipment diagrams; Servo and step motor motion control programming and troubleshooting; Data analysis skills to support maintenance, engineering and operation to find the root causes of process, operation and equipment issues; Manufacturing equipment management including new equipment setup, installation, downtime and spare parts control, new projects management and execution of maintenance programs; Knowledge in phosphor coating, vacuum and aluminum physical vapor deposition VPD Engineering; Control circuits of electronic beam guns used in display devices; Ability to do ABB robot system programming, maintenance and troubleshooting; ability to prepare, read and understand electrical schematic drawings. Must have three 3 years of experience with all of the following EBPVD other coating related control system programming on multiple control platforms Various PLCs, Window based PC, Robot Controllers, PanelView and other Dedicated Controllers with multiple communication protocols DeviceNet, Modbus, CIP, ICMP for process modification, and operation improvements and troubleshooting; and applying thermodynamic theory to analyze the condition of vacuum system by calculating the pressure, temperature and gas flow.
