Specific Skills:This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Biotechnology, Plant Science, or a related field and 4 years related biology experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 utilizing plant cell biology and physiology, and experience with plant tissue culture and transformation systems in multiple crops; 2 developing strategies for successful execution of pipeline projects via indepth analysis of transformation processes; 3 coaching direct reports on performance and personal development, and building high performing teams; 4 executing gene targeting and gene excising experiments using proprietary methods, including Induciblegene expression and excision method, Controlled tissue culture treatment method, Methods for visual detection of gene expression using color markers; and 5 plant tissue culture and bacterium culture technologies and equipment, Controlled growth environmentsequipment, Aseptic tools and technologies. Sterilization and contamination technologies and equipment. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program. This position requires up to 5 of domestic and international travel.
