Specific Skills:Must possess at least a masters degree or its equivalent in Quantitative Finance e.g., Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics or other related quantitative discipline like Engineering or Physics and at least four years of prior work experience as a Quantitative Analyst. Must also possess the following at least four years of experience developing, researching and implementing quantitative models for equities on behalf of a financial service institution. Must also possess the following at least four years of experience with programmingutilizing SQL and Python; at least four years of experience performing statistical analysis of historical data gathered from financial markets to build quantitative models; at least four years of experience analyzing the risk and return profile of portfolios of financial instruments; at least four years of experience conducting independent research utilizing large data sets; at least four years of experience with portfolio construction and equity factor risk models; and at least four years of experience building machinelearning models to explain market sentiment toward publicly traded companies from both traditional sources e.g. company earnings calls and nontraditional sources, e.g. twitter feeds, blog posts and other crowdbased information sources.
