Specific Skills:Experience required with the following i five years of procurement management experience specific to the rail transportation industry; ii experience with international sourcing, and working with global suppliers, on turnkey projects requirements which includes design through to the delivery of an entire rail system, including operations and maintenance; iii experience with delivering turnkey rail transportation projects valued at least 500 million U.S or greater; iv experience with commercial and contractual requirements, including engaging with national and international suppliers regarding subsystems; v experience with rail related trackwork systems, overhead power supply systems, 3rd rail power supply systems, depot and facility equipment, SCADA systems, Data Communication based systems, telecommunications systems, and signaling systems; vi experience with civil construction, system integrations, and testing and commissioning activities for rail transportation projects; vii experience with managing the financial, accounting, budgeting, cost management, treasury, and risk management functions for global procurement related to rail transportation projects; ix experience with procurement management for rail projects utilizing sourcing and procurement principles and best practices, and specifically related to construction, engineering, business services and signaling sectors for rail projects; x experience utilizing rail industry cost structures and models, including through project life costing matrix; xi experience with legislative and regulatory requirements, and global standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk, including risk of loss, limitation of liability, damages and litigation; and xii experience with Scheduling, PainGain Models, KPI building, Insurances, Bonding, and Liability principles, relating to rail projects within or for the Americas.br br Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 50 of the time.
