Specific Skills:Requires a bachelors degree electrical engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience managing and executing testing commissioning on Flexible Alternating Current FACTS Transmission Systems, specifically Static Var Compensators SVC, Series Capacitor Banks, and STATCOM. Also requires 5 years of experience testing and commissioning closed loop glycol cooling systems for electrical apparatus; Installing, testing, and commissioning thyristor, IGCT IGBT valves, AC circuits, DC distribution, DC control and protection circuits, mechanical interlocking arrangements, network and all interface terminals for FACTS; testing and commissioning of power transformers, auxiliary transformers, UMD battery backup systems, current transformers, voltage transformers, power transformers, capacitor banks, reactors, filter banks, surge arrestors,br busbar system, grounding system, disconnectgrounding switches, and protection systems; experience commissioning voltage source convertor with Modular multilevel converter 3 Level convertor topology; working with and solid understanding of relaying concepts, practices, electrical protection control systems, substation automation systems and SCADARTU systems; reading and understanding protection and electrical drawings and technical documents including disseminating this information to project teams; managing and leading large teams of both internal and external project teams; tracking progress of work execution, generating reports, and presenting project status to business leadership; and communicating effectively and acting decisively in connection with issues and recognizing opportunities for costeffectively improving operations.
