Also requires strong proficiency with APG and QMS core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA; working knowledge of SPC and GDT and how to apply these skills to improve quality, capacity, and reduce cost; proficient in use of a computer and common office software e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; robust knowledge of problem solving methodologies; demonstrated knowledge of RedX, Kaizen, and Six Sigma; demonstrated knowledge of 8D methodology; strong team building, interpersonal, and communication skills, including ability to work in a selfdirected environment; multitask oriented, driving for discontinuity, best in class performance mentality; and demonstrable leadership abilities. 50 travel to domestic and international supplier locations to conduct APQP reviews, quality audits, risk mitigation and product demonstration runs.
