Specific Skills:CONTINUATION OF JOB DUTIES FROM SECTION H.11br Design, develop test the interprocess communication of Turbonomic software deployed on Kubernetes pods to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability of information.br Develop test software network interfaces connectivity to multiple networks including AWS, Azure, VMware, others on premise to ensure data in transit is protected.br Work with a geographically distributed team function as a scrum master facilitating agile scrum processes standup meetings on a daily basis.br Maintain the lab infrastructure required for running automation including server installation and network connectivity, frequently capture snapshots clones via VMware VCenter to ensure smooth running of automation on daily basis.br Innovate drive automation best practices design implement automation processes systems to ensure 100 coverage for software requirements, software use cases, multiple deployment scenarios.br Develop performance benchmarks test the software deployments to establish performance baselines to meet response time scalability requirements.br Deploy code on continuous integration CI systems including Jenkins, oversee maintain successful runs of UI automation code over each build and release.br Provide ongoing process improvement efficiency metrics for the department. Its Manhattan office located at 60 East 42nd St, New York, NY is closing. The Senior Software Engineer in Test will work at our office located at 1 North Lexington Ave, White Plains, NY 10601. Both offices are located in the same New York Newark Jersey City, NYNJPA metropolitan statistical area MSA. The PERM recruitment reflects the White Plains, NY work location.br br Minimum Requirements Masters degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field 1 year of experience working as a Software Engineer architecting and implementing test quality assurance software.br br Must also have I Track record participating in all steps of the software development life cycle SDLC ownership of a full testing pipeline including UI, functional, regression, performance, scalability, security, stress, Quality of Service QoS; II Background working with a. Virtualization, Hyperconvergence, Private Cloud, Server Networking, VMWare VSphere technologies; b IO generating tools including IOMeter, JMeter, Fio; and c. Process Management tools to manage bugs and test cases including JIRA or Bugzilla; III Demonstrated experience building automation frameworks with Robot Test framework coding high quality automated test suites for distributed software; IV In depth background in a. Programming languages scripting languages including Python; and b. Cluster formation, node pools, snapshots, clones, REST APIs; V Experience troubleshooting systems identifying errors bugs even if doing so requires navigating through the product logs; VI Track record handling lab infrastructure, server installations, network connectivity and working on different flavors of Operating Systems including Windows Linux; VII Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and deployment pipelines agile scrum processes; and VIII Experience working effectively collaborating with cross functional and geographically distributed teams.
