Specific Skills:The minimum requirements for the position of Technical Utilities Project Manager are a Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Information Systems or a related technical field providing equivalent knowledge of utility engineering concepts and practices and a minimum of eight 8 years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Software EngineerArchitect, managing highly complex IT infrastructure projects and programs, across Energy utility industries. Including a minimum of five 5 years project management work experience related to one of the following electric substation, electric transmission, power plant design, andor construction of those facilities.br Knowledge, skills and abilitiesbr Experience to include energy and power engineering services preferred, including central plants, power generation, utility distribution and infrastructure, energy feasibility studies.br Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of Project Management methodologies waterfall, Agile scrum, SDLC, Kanban practices and procedures and core technical knowledge in related fields such as windows, Unix VMAX and Vblocks, network, OracleSQLBW HANABASISHADOOP databases, storage backup, BI Business intelligence, data analytics Data lake Terra data for deep learning etc.br Significant experience with Hardware Refresh, Service Improvements, platform upgrades, data center migrationconsolidation and cloud computing.br Significant experience managing all aspects of IT Project Management, including scope definition and deliverables, development and maintenance of project plans, development and maintenance of testing and training plans, and project reporting, archiving, data governance and regulatory compliance.br Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business executives, leaders, with all levels of professionals, and with project managers and teams.br Extensive experience driving workshops, focus groups, and work sessions.br Exceptional skills at producing qualified business cases.br Ability to quality assure technical projects is preferred.br Organizational leadership and change management skills is preferred.
