Specific Skills:Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Professional Application Delivery, or similar position in software development. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following Java, J2EE; IBM HATS; Web services, IBM DB2 or Oracle; WebSphere; Struts; and JavaScript. Must also have 2 years of experience with each of the following Pega PRPC; CICS screens; design and development of technical solutions, contributing to the overall system architecture and service oriented architecture; design of architectural flows for distributed application environment, working with external systems and services. Specific experience must also include each of the following Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Harvest; HP ALM QC; Rally; software design patterns MVC and Singleton; UI design for new products and enhancement for existing products; designing user interface screens for business workflows and underwriting rules; developing proof of concepts; providing estimates or validating suppliers#x19; estimates for business requirements; creating design documentation, which supports environment, architecture and development activities; and all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle SDLC from business requirements, through solution design, development, test, release and maintenance. Must be Oracle or Sun Certified Java Programmer and Certified System Architect PEGA. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. Please note Mr. Pinninti obtained a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification on April 19, 2010, and became a Certified System Architect PEGA, on December 29, 2014, both prior to joining Farmers Group.
