Specific Skills:Candidates must possess, at minimum, a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related. All candidates must also possess knowledge, as evidenced by passing a basic technical proficiency test, of three out of the five of the following subject matter areas 1 embedded systems firmware development including realtime firmware design and C and assembly languages; 2 object oriented programming and C ; 3 application of software engineering design principles; 4 firmware documentation procedures including software requirement specifications, design documentation, and functional tests; and 5 electric schematic diagrams, including the ability to read, understand, and apply schematics.
