These dual appointments are inseparably integrated into one position, with no delineation of hours worked nor differentiation of responsibilities between the two, as the instruction of medical studentsresidents and academic research required of both is directly based on clinical cases. Failure to maintain either appointment results in automatic and simultaneous termination of both.
