Specific Skills:Requires a masters or foreign equivalent degree in finance, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering or related computational finance or mathematical risk management field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience assisting in the development and recalibration of quantitative models including mortgage valuation and discount models for the mortgage or finance industry. Also requires 2 years of experience performing quantitative analysis to support the mortgage valuation process and risk measurement at the credit portfolio level, including regression analysis, model backtesting, model sensitivity analysis, stress and scenario testing; assisting in the design, development, and implementation of projects to provide quantitative support for collateral discounts for Residential First Lien and Second Lien mortgages, Commercial and Multifamily mortgages, and securities; developing reports to present risk measures to management, implementing reports, and maintaining documentation for procedures and controls; applying financial and quantitative modeling using quantitative or data analysis software; applying statistical modeling in mortgage valuation and discountingrisk assessment; and analyzing data and preparing reports that explain complex modeling and implementation decisions and strategies to internal committees, model validators, and other nontechnical audiences. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
