Laser device physics manufacturing and laser beam alignment systems and measurement of these devices Optical power, beam shaping, etc.;br 2. Optical testing to characterize the performance of lasers using optical systems alignment tools quad detectors or beam profiler and electrical test equipment functions generators and oscilloscopes for implementing electrical test for laser FA to check for parametric data;br 3. Physical failure analysis techniques for semiconductor industry, including crosssections, SEM, EDS, XRD, AFM, IR imaging;br 4. Design and management of Design Of Experiments, analyzing data and statistical analysis to ensure product and process robustness;br 5. Writing application notes, technical papers, and preparing presentations to internal team and external customers;br 6. Analytical data analysis for problem solving and Failure Analysis using variety of tools for capturing data and statistical analysis including Excel macro, MATLAB, JMP and SQL;br 7. Direct interaction with customer to propose solutions and improve process, product quality andor reliability; andbr 8. Interaction with process engineering team for ongoing improvements and to ensure optimal process capabilities.br br Additionally, requires 1 year out of the 5 years stated herein to include skills and experience inbr br 1. Advanced physical failure analysis surface techniques for semiconductor industry, FIB, TEM, PL, EL, LIT, VPD, Auger, SIMS, TXRF, XPS;br 2. Investigating RMA, inprocess failures, and reliability failures through detailed failure analysis;br 3. Providing risk assessment to internal and external customers based on yield, reliability, and failure analysis;br 4. Responding to internal external customers with documented root cause and corrective action taken through 8D reporting methodology;br 5. Driving corrective action plans resulting from internal and 3rd party audits;br 6. Understanding of failure modes and acceleration factors in reliability testing;br 7. Communicating failure analysis results to department leaders for improvement;br 8. Local management for FA lab and activity, including personnel, scheduling and prioritization;br 9. Managing quality and failure analysis team in a fab environment; andbr 10. Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing techniques Laser Process, PVD, APCVD, andor PECVD and understanding of wafer fabrication.br br Requires travel up to once per quarter to China and Malaysia.
