Specific Skills:Requires a Bachelors degree in Civil, or Structural Engineering, plus 1 year of structural engineering drafting experience. Requires at least 1 year of experience drafting with AutoCAD Microstation and Revit; 1 year of experience inspecting, and performing structural analysis on existing buildings and bridges; 1 year of structural engineering design experience of the type required for renovations, or repairs to steel and concrete buildings, which must include work on mixeduse, residential buildings, midrise buildings and airport terminal buildings; 1 year of experience with the structural analysis, and drafting software RISA3D, STAAD, Tedds, DCALC, LPile, Geopak, LEAP, ETABS and MathCAD; 1 year of structural engineering design experience on Illinois Tollway and Illinois Department of Transportation IDOT bridges including superstructure and foundations, IDOT sound abatement walls and deep foundation systems piles, or caissons; and 1 year of experience using the IDOT design guide and IDOT and Tollway drafting standards. Requires domestic travel to job sites up to 25 of total duty time.
