Specific Skills:Must have knowledge of the following complex mathematicalstatistical skills to aid in the use of modeling techniques, numerical methods, and research skills; mathematical and statistical methods and instruments, including timeseries analysis, statistical estimation, Monte Carlo methods, Bayesian techniques, risk factor modeling, scenario analysis, quantitative alpha and behavioral research, probability analysis, statistical inference, optional control and numerical optimization; compiled highperformance programming language such as CC or JavaGroovy, including designing and developing low latency, highperformance, robust and scalable quantitative research software; handling and analyzing complex datasets using languages such as Python, with matplotlib, numpy, scipy, pandas, and scikitlearn packages; UnixLinux, Bash, and Version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial; and preprocessing and using parallel computing tools to analyze largescale datasets.br Must also pass companys required skills assessment.br br Note that these special requirementsspecific skills and the passing of companys required skills assessment are required for both sets of requirements primary and alternative.br br NOTE 1 br The acceptable majorsfields of study in H.7.a are Mathematics, Statistics, Computational and Mathematical Engineering, Financial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Operations Research.
