Specific Skills:Must have a Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel or hospitality industry, managing clients in key accounts; 2 years of experience with IBM AS400 or Oracle; 2 years of experience with Salesforce; strong computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance. Must be highly proficient in the use of computer equipment and supporting software in a Windows based environment. Must be fluent in English and Mandarin written verbal; and have the ability to travel 25 to 40 of the time domestic and international. EXPLANATION OF BUSINESS NECESSTIY FOR MANDARIN LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT WRITTEN VERBAL. Mandarin language is required of the Key Account Travel Representative inasmuch as such language is utilized approximately 60 of the time in the performance of the duties of the proffered position. The incumbent is responsible for the travel agencies in the U.S. that are focused on the cultural segment that primarily speaks Mandarin. The incumbents Mandarin language skills will allow the employer to provide proper sales and customer service for this niche market. Written requirements in Mandarin include Delivering quotation offer to clients; Clearly documenting discussions and action plans; Providing new product market information; translating to English clients itinerary written in Mandarin; helping clients build up their marketing brochures. Verbal requirements in Mandarin include Participating in conference calls meetings with clients; Supporting the end to end client relationships to maximize client loyalty; and Providing on the road emergency contact.
