Specific Skills:Specific Skills or Other Requirements Employee must hold a Certified Public Accountant CPA License.br br Minimum Requirements Masters degree in Accounting or Business Administration, 6 months of employment experience as an accountant, and holds a CPA license.br br Alternate Requirements A bachelors degree in Accounting or Business plus the required number of upperdivision and graduatelevel credit hours to obtain a CPA license which is equivalent to the number of credit hours to obtain a masters degree plus 6 months of employment experience as an accountant. To meet the alternate requirements, an applicant must satisfy one of the following 1 a bachelors degree in Accounting or Business from an institution whose business education program is accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business AACSB, or the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs ACBSP and complete no less than A 24 semester 36 quarter hours in upper division or graduate level accounting courses with at least one course in each of the following subjects financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting; and B 30 semester 45 quarter hours in upper division or graduate level business or accounting courses; OR 2 a bachelors degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting body and no less than A 24 semester 36 quarter hours in nonaccounting business or related courses including each of the following subjects business law, computers, economics, business ethics, finance, business statistics and quantitative methods, written and oral business communications, business administration such as marketing, production, management, policy or organizational behavior; B 24 semester 36 quarter hours in graduate or upper division accounting courses with a minimum of 2 semester 3 quarter hours in each of the following subjects auditing, financial accounting, managerial or cost accounting, systems, and taxes; and C 30 additional semester 45 quarter hours in graduate or upper division accounting and business courses. The number of additional graduate or upperdivision courses required under 1 and 2 are equivalent to the number of credit hours required for a masters degree. Accordingly, the alternate education required is a bachelors degree plus the number of credit hours required to obtain a masters degree, in addition to the requirement to hold a CPA license and have 6 months of employment experience.br br Applicant qualifications Mr. Saahene obtained a Master of Accountancy and Master of Business Administration from Idaho State University in 2015 and worked as an accountant for WSRP, LLC from February 29, 2017 to September 20, 2017.
