Specific Skills:Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or a closely related field and 5 years of experience using Informatica, Power Center 10, and SSIS to develop workflows to ETL data into operational data stores and data warehouses. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience supporting ETL development. Experience must include 5 years developing and maintaining dimensional Star and Snowflake and Relational data models using Erwin and Oracle Data Modeler; utilizing Oracle, Informatica, Software Development Life Cycle SDLC legacy integration, batch data processing, and distributed scheduling and automation to integrate and extract data from various data sources; designing, developing, and delivering datacentric IT solutions, including relational databases, data warehouses, ELTETL processes, and reporting applications; performing data profiling for data quality, ETL and database performance tuning and optimization, and technical problem solving; and utilizing SQL and PLSQLs to write complex queries for data analytics and developing stored procedures, functions, and packages to retrieve data for reporting; 4 years utilizing SQL Server to integrate and extract data from various data sources; 3 years utilizing Big Data technologies, including Hadoop framework, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Spark, and Impala to support corporate IT strategy migrating host data from onpremise to offpremise; designing and implementing Master Data Management schemas, rules, and processes within an Insurance company or comparable Financial Institution; utilizing Autosys or ControlM to design complex batch scheduling solutions addressing various types of dependencies; and providing technical solutions using Python, Perl, and Unix Scripting to augment and compliment ETL andor Batch Automation technologies.
